Case History 485: Cat

I was looking after a cat whilst its owner was away, and an abscess appeared on the cat adjacent to the anus and burst. I washed the cat’s back end under a tap as I was unable to bathe it easily. I then sprayed under the tail twice daily with COLLOIDAL SILVER.

I gave the HOMOEOPATHIC ANTIBIOTIC COMBINATION suggested by Dr Helen Fullerton in Issue 60 (Summer 2002) in a combination of ACONITE 6x, ARSENICUM ALBUM 6x, HEPAR SULPH 6x and IODUM 6x - plus CARBO ANIMALIS 6x. Five doses, 4 minutes apart, achieved with the use of a kitchen timer!

I carried on this treatment for 5 days, by which time the area was clean, pale pink and virtually healed. The cat seemed to have little discomfort after the first day, cool ears, and his bottom and tail lifted when stroked.

I would normally have used HYPERCAL Tincture diluted in warm, previously boiled water to bathe with, but this was not easy with a ‘strange’ cat and the COLLOIDAL SILVER really was so easy to apply by spray. Also, previously I would have probably given HEPAR SULPH plus CALENDULA and ARNICA 30c.

COLLOIDAL SILVER in a spray is the most useful first aid item I have found . . .

. . . HOMOEOPATHIC ANTIBIOTIC is now in my first aid box . . .
