The HSAW is a Society for Small-Holders and Animal Enthusiasts.

The aims of the Society are:-
1. The treatment of animals with homoeopathic remedies which are safe, effective, gentle and have no side effects.
2. The circulation of knowledge of successful remedies used by members.
3. To campaign for the training of more homoeopathic Veterinary Surgeons.
4. To fight for our right to use Natural Medicines.
5. The general welfare of animals under our care.

Why homoeopathic treatment?
With homoeopathy there are no side effects either in the treatment or prevention of illness as with some conventional treatments and vaccines and the remedies are safe to use.

Many people feel that they wish to monitor the health and well-being of their animals and feel strongly about the effect of the over-use of antibiotics and steriods. Quick homoeopathic action as a first aid measure can often stop the progress of the symptoms developing into a serious disease or chronic ailment.

Homoeopathy appeals to many, as is does not rely on animal experimentation. The 'provings' were carried out on the human species many years ago and still prove true today.
